The best way to approach the Park is through the Jugendstil portals next to the Stadtpark underground station (U4).

| The park is famous for its portals and bridges over the river Wien, the Kursalon (spa house), and statues of Johann Strauß and other composers and painters.

A walk alongside the park on the wide tree shaded avenue of the Ring is wonderful in summer or the snows of winter. And diagonally opposite the top left corner of the Stadtpark is Café Prückel if you require refreshment.
